Developed in partnership with 6 Degrees, our Student Engagement Framework project allows us to engage with students, staff, industry and alumni to add the most value to students’ time at UniSA. Helene was recommended to me after her work on the UNIJAM project in 2013 and we met over coffee and clicked.

6 Degrees Consulting facilitated 17 separate focus groups, from which we pulled data and information. We can now map out and articulate what we mean by an ‘outstanding student experience’ and use this to channel resources and ensure scalability as we move towards providing an equitable experience for over 30,000 students.

The 6 Degrees team are very inclusive and collaborative, and the staff they worked with were excited, engaged and looking forward.

Through our work with 6 Degrees, we now have a framework to underpin what we do, and these principles will remain front and centre, allowing us to provide collaborative engagement strategies to position UniSA as a university that partners with students.

6 Degrees are exceedingly good at listening. They understood what our needs were and used their experience in working with complex organisations to come back with proposals. I love working with them and have already begun engaging with them in other activities.
